Gold Sport is a British ready-to-wear label created by Jan Barcikowski in 2015. Examining how societal expectations of masculinity have a negative impact on men's mental health, Gold Sport deconstructs the outdated cultural frameworks of what it means to be a man today. Taking brazen cues from heteronormative environments, woven with loving, delicate messages of inner strength, self-awareness, and self-care. Gold Sport shifts the narrative through various expressions of social commentary, concepts, and apparel.

Launching collections all over the world in stores like Opening Ceremony. Gold Sport has been worn by the likes of Dua Lipa, Tommy Cash and Years & Years. Gold Sport has also been featured in many renowned international magazines including Highsnobiety, Gay Times, Hunter, Wad, Blanc, Red Milk, Metal and others.

The brands latest offering of graphic tees takes inspiration from competitive fighting merchandise, clad in muscular torsos and extruded metallic type. At a glance the pieces exude a very macho quality, but at closer inspection each design has a deeper message around inner strength and self care. With floral motifs, poetry and inspirational quotes peppered throughout, the initially abrasive nature of the collection reveals a softer side, reminiscent of the brands ethos.
